This year’s Adventure Country Tracks took them to Great Britain with special guest rider Charley Boorman. Charley braved the adventure on the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Special, facing challenging technical tracks and remote mountain roads that introduce riders to the best of the British countryside.
During this 915-kilometer five-day route, riding skills were tested, and senses were delighted as the tale of British cultural and natural history unfolded beneath the riders and wheels of the Pan America. The journey started in the Brecon Beacons National Park at the site of a 12th-century monastery and ended in the North Sea port town of Whitby. This town was home to 18th-century explorer Captain James Cook and haunt of the fictitious Count Dracula of Bram Stoker’s famous gothic novel.
The ratio of road to off-road is the lowest of any Adventure Country Tracks journey as the trails consistently wind their way into the remote high country, which is connected by the narrowest and emptiest country roads you'll find.
