It feels good to win, don't you think!? This week, LiveWire® and an extremely talented racer have given us a reason to celebrate!
Angelle Sampey -- the winningest female in motorsports history -- has officially set two new world records for elapsed time and top speed on a LiveWire production motorcycle during exhibition runs at the NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.
Angelle broke the previous 1/8-mile record, held by a Zero motorcycle, by a whopping 1.5 seconds! She also completed the 1/4-mile run in just 11.156 seconds at 110.35 mph (the 2020 LiveWire has a top speed limit of 110 mph).
We love to win! Congratulations on a tremendous achievement – and a notable showcase of the company’s ability to lead in the electrification of motorcycling.
