Born to outperform, Sportster S ushers in a new era of Sportster performance with the Revolution® Max 1250T V-Twin engine, which puts you in command of 121-horsepower and 94 ft. lbs. of peak torque.
The Revolution® Max 1250T is a 60-degree V-Twin design that features liquid-cooling, double overhead camshafts and variable valve timing, providing you with immediate power that has been specifically tuned to maximise rider control.
A narrow powertrain profile ensures mass centralisation, enhanced balance and handling, while also providing ample foot/leg room for the rider. Separate throttle bodies are located between the cylinders, positioned to create minimal turbulence and impedance to air flow.
Highlighted with a Chocolate Satin finish on the lightweight magnesium engine covers, the engine showcases textures, colours, finishes and details similar to that of a custom show bike.
As a stressed member of the chassis, the engine allowed designers to eliminate the traditional frame - for a design that significantly reduces motorcycle weight and results in a very stiff chassis that contributes to precise handling.
